Ms. Thomas
About Me:
I graduated in 2011 from Briar Cliff University as a Secondary Mathematics teacher with a Middle School Endorsement in Language Arts and Mathematics. I spent 2.5 years subbing in districts around the Siouxland area and a half year as a paraprofessional in the 5th/6th grade Resource Room at Dakota Valley Middle School before I accepted the position as a Jr./Sr. High Mathematics teacher with River Valley. This is my 4th year teaching here, and I am looking forward to this year just as much as my first year! I am excited to teach students that I haven't had yet as well as students I've had in the past. I also can't wait to attend the many different activities that the River Valley students participate in. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, cooking, baking, and spending time with my two cats.
