Teacher Spotlight - Mr. Jim Bezoni

Making sure students have the tools they need to make their dreams a reality is Mr. Jim Bezoni.  He was born in 1961 and likes to celebrate his birthday on August 7th.  Joining him in his family is his wife, son and daughter-in-law.  Also included in their family is their dog.

He acquired his teaching degree at the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, SD., and he is in his 33rd year of teaching.  He teaches Science and Reading to the 4th and 5th grade students.  He believes his students would be shocked to find out that school wasn't his favorite thing when he was younger.

His favorite thing to do for enjoyment is spending time with his family.

Some of his favorites are:

  • The color orange.
  • Food is chicken.
  • Book is "Where The Red Fern Grows."
  • Movie is "Jack Frost."
  • Song is "You Should Be Here" by Cole Swindell.
  • Sports are hunting and snowmobiling.
  • Sport teams are the Iowa Hawkeyes for college and the Green Bay Packers for NFL.

His special thing about teaching is watching students learn new things.

Mr. Bezoni shares, "I've been a Firefighter/EMT for 31 years!!!"

Mr. Bezoni, thank you for all that you do!
