Teacher Spotlight - Mrs. Madison Glade

Teaching students that they are capable of learning and doing great things is Mrs. Madison Glade.  She celebrates her birthday on June 4th.  Her family consists of her husband, Jesse Glade and son, Beckett Glade.  They also have a pet German shepherd, Halas to round out their family.

She obtained her teaching degree at Morningside College in Sioux City and she is in her 6th year of teaching.  She teaches Science and Reading to the 6th-8th grade students.  She believes her students would be surprised to find out that she has a twin sister.

Her favorite thing to do for fun is spending time with her family.

Some of her favorites are:

  • The color yellow.
  • Food is hamburger and fries.
  • Book is "Echo" by Pam Munoz Ryan.
  • Movie is "Dirty Dancing" (Classic).
  • Song is "Hole in the Bottle" by Kelsea Ballerini.
  • Football is her favorite sport.
  • Her favorite team is the Chicago BEARS.

Her exceptional thing about teaching is teaching the students that it is okay to be wrong/fail as long as they keep trying to improve.

Mrs. Glade, thank you for all that you do!
