In this spotlight we will recognize the Junior High Choir who is coached by Mr. Eric Flynn.
The team consists of 8 players:
- Riley Anderson - 7th grade - Soprano
- Chloe Brauninger - 7th grade - Alto
- Aliesha Lorenzen - 7th grade - Alto
- Jessi-Ann Wortman - 7th grade - Soprano
- Kaylyn Buettner - 8th grade - Alto
- Nicolas Hernandez - 8th grade - Baritone
- Addie Law - 8th grade - Soprano
- Mason Wigand - 8th grade - Baritone
Mr. Flynn believes the purpose of the team is to learn, sing and create music and have fun. He says some of their duties are concerts and solo/ensemble contest.
Mr. Flynn believes the team is successful because a smaller group allows for more one on one learning and helps everyone who participates.
The team has fun by doing sing-a-longs, guess that song trivia and a music trip at the end of the year.
Mr. Flynn says, "An advantage of being on my team is students involved in music tend to do better at other aspects of life, true fact!"
Mr. Flynn is proud to be working with students who wish to sing and learn about music.
