Teacher Spotlight - Mrs. Angie Reinking

Nurturing dreams and showing students what is possible is Mrs. Angie Reinking.  She celebrates her birthday on January 31st and was born in 1984.  Her family consists of husband, Adam, three sons, Braden, Bennett and Parker.  They also have a Maltese dog, Claire to round out their family.

She received her teaching degree at Wayne State College.  She is in her 8th year of teaching.  She teaches P.E. and TAG to the K - 5th grade students.  She believes her students would be amazed to find out her age!  Most think she is in her 20's, which is so sweet of them!

Her favorite thing to do for excitement is family time, it is so important to her and she also really enjoys any fitness activity.

Some of her favorites are:

  • The color purple.
  • Food-She loves Italian food.
  • Sports are volleyball, golf and basketball.
  • Sport teams are the Hawkeyes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Her greatest thing about teaching is just being in the presence of children, she loves that they are always so happy!

Mrs. Reinking shares, "My eight years at River Valley have been nothing less than amazing.  I have had the privilege to teach great students, coach volleyball with talented girls and worked with the BEST co-workers.  Thank you to everyone for making my job so enjoyable!"
