Teacher Spotlight - Brittni Forrer

Nurturing dreams and showing students what is possible is Mrs. Brittni Forrer.  She celebrates her birthday on July 8th.  Her family consists of her husband, Sam.  They also have 2 dogs, Finley, who is a golden retriever and Murphy, who is a cocker spaniel to round out their family.

She received her teaching degree at Mount Marty University in Yankton, South Dakota, her Bachelors degree in Special Education, Physical Education and Exercise Science and she has endorsements in health and coaching.  She is in her 4th year of teaching.  She teaches Junior High PE, High School PE, High School Strength Training and High School Health to the 6th-12th grade students.  She believes her students would be amazed to find out that for being a PE and Health teacher her favorite food is donuts and she eats them way more than she wants to admit.

Her favorite thing to do for excitement is exercise and play with her dogs.

Some of her favorites are:

  • The color maroon.
  • Food is donuts.
  • Sport is basketball.
  • Sports team is the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Her greatest thing about teaching PE is seeing her student athletes get stronger and quicker and being able to see that translate to competitions.

Mrs. Forrer, thank you for all that you do!
