In this spotlight we will recognize Ms. Kourtney Kay Miller. She celebrates her birthday on July 1st. She has a cat named Lily to round out her family.
She earned her teaching degree at South Dakota State University. She is in her 3rd year of teaching. She teaches Agriculture (Plant Science, Intro to Ag, Animal Science and Exploratory) and Industrial Technology ( Carpentry, Welding, Intro to Ind. Tech, Woodworking and Exploratory) to the 7th-12th grade students.
Her favorite thing to do for fun is golf and ride 4 wheelers.
Some of her favorites are:
- The color pink.
- Food is Chick-fil-a and steak and potatoes.
- Movie is "Temple Grandin."
- Song is any old or new country music and 90's hip hop.
Her best thing about teaching is providing the students with hands-on opportunities.
