It’s Wellness Wednesday!
I (Mrs. Holtz) was recently reminded by a friend that health is not linear. I found that to be so very true and even more so encouraging!
So, during our social distancing days, use this opportunity to focus on your health!
Go for a walk
Drink more water
Call up a friend and chat
Try a new, healthy recipe
Check out some online exercise programs
Begin keeping a diary
Log your food and exercise choices
Play with your kids
Truly, the possibilities are endless!
And remember, just like the story The Tortoise and the Hare, slow and steady wins the race!! It’s the little choices that make a BIG difference!
Before our school closing, the plant science students put this hydroponic system together. A lot of problem solving took place. Due to poor water quality this was the outcome. May not feed an army but it's a start. "Agriculture and learning never stop!"

Staff please plan on meeting at the Quimby golf course tomorrow in the parking lot. I would like to start cruise promptly at 5:30 so plan accordingly. This will be a lot of fun. You’re the best! Wear red! Don’t touch Your Face 😷👊🏻

Mr. Bisenius, Mrs. Shanks, and Mr. Slater had a zoom meeting today for seniors. It was nice checking in with them. More virtual meetings on the way.
We will be having the staff parade tomorrow, Thursday, March 26 through RV Communities. Staff will meet at Quimby Golf Course and start parade approx. at 5:30pm we will then go to Washta then Cushing and then Correctionville. #RedOut #WeAreRV

Wellness Tip Wednesday: Be sure to hydrate daily with water. You should drink 1/2 of your body weight in ounces of water each day up to 100 oz. 100 lbs= 50oz of water. 200 lbs or more= 100oz of water. Have a great week and stay hydrated for optimal health! #WeAreRV!
SENIORS: Check your email for an invite from Mr. Slater to a zoom meeting. I hope all the seniors can participate Wednesday afternoon.
It was so nice to see some of the 5th graders who were available today via Zoom. We were able check-in on work at home and simply reconnect with each other! They liked it so much we will be planning to do it again next week. Thanks for joining, Mr. Bezoni and Mrs. Holtz!
