The KP-RV girls' golf team placed 2nd today in the 1A Regional meet in Aurelia today. The Panthers move on to play on Wednesday, May 15 at Lake Creek Country Club in Storm Lake for a State Tournament berth. Way to go ladies!

This Friday night, May 10, will be the Fine Arts/Athletic Awards Banquet. We apologize for the short notice, there was a little mixup on dates so with that being said, we want everyone to make it! In true banquet fashion, the meal will be pot luck style and we need your help. The boosters will be grilling pork loin along with a limited amount of burgers and brats. Today's featured Senior is Will Huisinga. Will is the son of Ben & Nicole Huisinga and his siblings are Maddi, Wyatt & Keira. His favorite high school memory is going to Indianapolis with the FFA chapter and riding scooters when Mrs Koskovich specifically told us not to. In the future Will is going to continue working at Anfinson Farm Store in Cushing and attend NCC for agriculture. Eventually he wants to farm and raise cattle. Jade Wortman is today's featured senior. She is the daughter of Jeff Wortman and Jackie Vennard-Crichton. Her siblings are Jazzmine, Jessi-Ann & Jeremiah Wortman. Her favorite high school memory involved Maddox Wood needing a haircut and Blaine Olson offering to do it. Jade somehow got roped into it. Blaine ended up cutting Maddox's hair down at Copeland in the gazebo. After high school Jade plans on attending WITCC for two years for her gen eds and then transferring to either Wayne or Iowa State where she will continue to get her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
