It was both a filling and exhilarating day during RV Elementary's lunch times today. We held our September edition of the "Longest Fry Contest". We celebrated winners from various grades. They were: Kade, William, Liam, Cyler, Alise, and Braylynn. Congrats kiddos:)
River Valley Community: Everyone is welcome to be a part of our Homecoming Parade on Friday, September 15. The parade line-up begins at 11 am at the Correctionville Fire Station. The parade begins at 11:30 pm. The parade route has changed from last year. See the attached photo for this year's route. See you at the parade!

Yesterday, we kicked off September with our RV September Lift-off! We talked about many things including our KDT word of the month, "Optimism". We also celebrated our September birthdays and KDT drawing winners. In addition, we introduced our newly formed RV Elementary Student Council. It was a great way to get our week and month going.
Members from the Washta and Quimby Legion along with members of the Quimby Auxiliary and the Iowa National Guard helped RV Elementary kick off their 2023-2024 school year. We are very thankful for their help in our yearly Flag Raising Ceremony. The Quimby Auxiliary also donated a bunch of needed Kleenex. Thanks again for helping us kick off our school year and also a huge thank you for your service!
