After school on September 15, a number of River Valley elementary staff members got together to pack sacks for RV's weekend Backpack Program. RV partners with the United Methodist Church in Washta to make this happen. What a great program!!

The Football Cheerleaders will be having a Cheer Camp for students in Grades pre-k to 8th grade. The cost of the camp is $25 and includes a sweatshirt, admission for the student to the home football games on 9/23 and 10/14, and a hot dog/chip meal. Students will need to be at the high school at 5 pm on those two dates and will then perform a few cheers during halftime of the games. The order forms and money are due this Friday 9/09! The 2022-2023 Yearbooks are now on sale for the lowest price of the year, $30. The price will increase after Oct. 18. 2022. Flyers to order will be sent home with the elementary students in their Friday Folders. Middle School and High School students/parents can pick up the order forms in the office in Correctionville.
