Picture Retake Day will be TOMORROW, Monday, Oct. 10th. Elementary will be 1st in the morning, followed by the Junior High/High School. If your child(ren) missed the 1st School Picture Day, they will need to have their picture taken on Monday even if you don't plan to purchase a picture package. If your child is having retakes, the entire picture package must be returned to school by Monday morning for them to have retakes. Earlier this week during RV Elementary's October Lift-Off we celebrated our October birthdays. We also drew prizes for some of our KDT kids. Prizes ranged from McDonald's treats to coupons donated by Washta's very own Rise and Grind Convenience Store. It was great way to kick off the Spookiest Month of the Year!

School pictures have arrived and have been distributed to your student(s), Elementary was sent home on Friday, JH/HS pictures are being sent home today. It is National School Custodian Appreciation Day! RV Elementary would like to give a "Shout Out" to these wonderful custodians we call our own!! Western Valley Conference Volleyball Tournament Action is taking place tonight at River Valley. Matches start at 5:30pm with River Valley taking on Lawton Bronson and Westwood taking on Ridge View, the match for 3rd and 4th places will take place immediately following the first 2 matches, with the Championship Match to take place at the end of the evening. Plan to attend for some great Western Valley Conference volleyball action!! Just a reminder: no school issued activity passes will be accepted at the gate. Admission is $5.00 for adults and $5.00 for students.

We are so proud of our students here at RV Elementary School! By practicing positive behavior, they have been earning a lot of KDT (Kindness, Determination, and Trustworthiness) tickets to start our year. We have now moved the bus to 1,000 KDT tickets!!! Great job everybody:)
