Tuesday, Dec. 7th our high school girls and boys will be traveling to Ridge View. This will be played in the new gym in Holstein. Girls game will start at 6:00pm. Our original schedule says it's in Schaller.
Join us tonight for our first home basketball game as our high school girls and boys teams host Woodbury Central in Correctionville. The girls' game starts at 6:00pm, with the boys game following. The dance team will be performing their state routine during 1/2 time of the boys' game. Please join us this Saturday, Nov. 20th as our High School Drama Dept. presents our Fall Play titled Black Hearts And Bearded Ladies. Performances are set for a 2:00pm matinee and a performance at 7:00pm. There will be an intermission during both performances with cookies and beverages. The cost for either performance is $5.00 for adults and students (preschool and under are free). River Valley Activity Passes will be accepted. Hope to see you there!!

River Valley Elementary will being having a food drive this week to benefit families in the River Valley community. We invite all elementary students to participate by bringing in at least one non-perishable food item (Students are welcome to bring more than one!). Students will celebrate taking part of the food drive by getting to wear hats to school on Wednesday, November 24th!

High School Student Council is putting on a Veterans Day program this Thursday, November 11th at 10 am in the auditorium. Community members are welcome to join us for the program and refreshments following the program.

Thank you so much to the Chapter 5355 Department of the Dakotas Military Order of the Purple Heart for the donation of a brand new flag and flag pole at the elementary school. Our students were not only blessed with having a new flag pole, but also through the time and presentation from United States military veterans. We are thankful for these men and the many other service members out there who have served our country so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have in America.
