High School students have the opportunity to attend the homecoming dance next Friday night (Sept 17). Dress attire can be casual or formal (whichever you prefer that night!). Info about the dance is on the attached flyer. If a RV high school student wants to bring a date that is not a RV student, he/she must have prior approval and fill out a Guest Permission Slip located in the high school office. This permission slip is due back by NOON Friday, Sept 17.
Here is a schedule for Homecoming during next week (weather permitting). The previous post has the dress up days for Thursday and Friday switched around, but these are the official dress up days!
COVID-19 Testing for River Valley CSD Families and Staff:
Cherokee Regional Medical Center will continue to perform Binax testing for school staff and students through IDPH. If a staff or student has mild symptoms or feels they may have COVID they can call to schedule a test without a Doctor's order by calling the CRMC Lab at 712-225-1514.
If staff or students have moderate to severe symptoms and feel they need to be seen they should call their provider

REMINDER: PICTURE DAY IS TOMORROW. Stevenson's Studio will be in both buildings tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 8th, to capture school pictures for the 2021-2022 school year. As in recent years, you may order your picture package(s) online at https://stevensonschoolphoto.hhimagehost.com/V2/Home/Organization/rivervalley. We also have order forms available in both offices for those wishing to order that way.
On Wednesday, September 22nd the AEA will be coming in to do hearing screenings for PK-3rd grade students.
If you do not want your child to be tested, you need to contact the office before the screening.

HS Student Council is looking for someone to drive a tractor with fork lift hooks (long hooks if possible) for the Color Guard in the homecoming parade on Thursday, Sept 16. Line up starts at 5 pm at the Correctionville fire station and parade begins at 6. Please contact Mrs. Verzani (averzani@rvwolverines.org) at the high school for more info if you can help out!
Admission prices for tonight's High School Volleyball Game at Sibley Ocheyedan is $6.00 for adults and $6.00 for students.
