Friday, September 17th, the elementary will dismiss from Correctionville following the pep rally. Busses will run their normal routes. Johnnie's bus will bring Washta walkers back to Washta on his bus. If anything needs to change, please call the elementary office by the end of the day tomorrow.
Tomorrow, September the 16h and, September 23rd, we will be short one bus. We will combine John Hanson's route with our other routes. You should have received a phone call and/or a note if your child's pickup/drop off time will be different. Please call the school or Chuck w/ questions.
Parade line-up will start at 5 pm (Thursday, Sept 16) by the fire station and will end at the high school. The parade starts at 6 pm and the route will start at 4th and Cedar Streets proceeding east on 4th Street to Driftwood Street turning north and continuing north on Driftwood Street proceeding east on 9th Street and ending at 9th and Hackberry Streets at the high school. Following the parade, the boosters are providing a meal deal. The community pep rally will begin at the football field at 7:00 pm. Coronation will be in the auditorium at 7:30 pm.

High School students have the opportunity to attend the homecoming dance next Friday night (Sept 17). Dress attire can be casual or formal (whichever you prefer that night!). Info about the dance is on the attached flyer. If a RV high school student wants to bring a date that is not a RV student, he/she must have prior approval and fill out a Guest Permission Slip located in the high school office. This permission slip is due back by NOON Friday, Sept 17.

COVID-19 Testing for River Valley CSD Families and Staff:
Cherokee Regional Medical Center will continue to perform Binax testing for school staff and students through IDPH. If a staff or student has mild symptoms or feels they may have COVID they can call to schedule a test without a Doctor's order by calling the CRMC Lab at 712-225-1514.
If staff or students have moderate to severe symptoms and feel they need to be seen they should call their provider

REMINDER: PICTURE DAY IS TOMORROW. Stevenson's Studio will be in both buildings tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 8th, to capture school pictures for the 2021-2022 school year. We also have order forms available in both offices for those wishing to order that way.
On Wednesday, September 22nd the AEA will be coming in to do hearing screenings for PK-3rd grade students.

Admission prices for tonight's High School Volleyball Game at Sibley Ocheyedan is $6.00 for adults and $6.00 for students.
