CONGRATULATIONS to senior Garrett Trapp! He has been selected to play in the 2021 Pizza Ranch IBCA All-Star basketball game on Sat. March 27th at the Dallas Center-Grimes High School! Less than 50 players statewide were selected to play. #wolverinepride!

District FFA Results - Maddi, Emily, and Alison received Silver in Floriculture. Contest consisted of plant identification, identifying plant nutrient deficiencies, creating a boutineer and corsage, pricing the arrangements and a test. Awesome job girls!

District FFA Results - Danika received bronze in Job Interview. Contest consisted of creating a cover letter, job description, resume, and being interviewed at contest. Way to Danika!

District FFA Results - AJ, Trey, and Ethan received Silver in Ag Mechanics. Contest consisted of MIG welding, wiring an outlet, Skidloader test, carpentry test, land measurement test, and nuts/bolts/nails/washer identification. Good work guys!

First graders are working on typing their step by step directions on how to brush your teeth.



First graders got to play Kahoot with their touch screen chrome books. It was a fun way to review what we have been learning in math.


7th Grade Math students experimenting with 3-D shapes to find the volume of prisms, pyramids, cones, and cylinders.

Come listen to River Valley Individual Speech State Qualifiers entertain you with their public performance skills! All are welcome, masks are required!

For your planning purposes: River Valley will be making up a day of school on March 15, which was scheduled as a teacher inservice day. Also, March 16, will be a two hour late start for the administration of the second shot of the COVID-19 vaccination.

Here is Wilbur. This lucky pig got kissed by Mrs. Holtz today along with many other Elementary staff that volunteered to kiss the pig! Can't wait to see which High School Staff member has to kiss the pig tomorrow.
