Homecoming 2020 will be during the week of September 8-11. The theme is Lights, Camera, Action! Since this is less than 2 weeks away, Homecoming t-shirt orders will be due by NOON MONDAY, AUGUST 31 to either building secretary or Mrs Verzani at the high school. A message from the Western Valley Conference: The Western Valley Conference will be requiring the wearing of a face covering by all spectators in attendance at our volleyball events in all of our facilities at all levels. Collectively we want our students to have the opportunity to play and compete for an entire season in a safe and healthy environment. Thursday Night Varsity Volleyball: Due to some transportation conflicts with one of our opponents, the game schedule for Thursday's varsity volleyball triangular will be as follows: 5:30- River Valley vs Remsen St. Mary's (best 3 out of 5) Followed by: Remsen St. Mary's vs West Harrison (best 3 out of 5) Followed by: River Valley vs West Harrison (best 3 out of 5)

Families- 1. please remember that visitors will need to have an appointment with the offices in order to enter the buildings. 2. Masks are required upon entry into the building and required where social distancing is not possible. The school will provide your student with a mask if needed. 3. JH football practice will start Monday with equipment check-out. A late bus will be provided. 4. We are all excited to have your students back in our buildings! FOOTBALL FRIDAY NIGHT: Come check out this year's football team Friday night from 6-8 as they practice under the lights. Please bring a sports drink (powerade or gatorade) as admission. There will be collection tubs at the gates. Please practice social distancing around the fence and in the stands.

Go to your Parent Portal at https://rvwolverines.powerschool.com/public/home.html. You will need to remember your username and password to complete the registration. It is very cumbersome to do it on the phone and web browser so it is recommended to complete forms on a computer Forms are not available on the mobile application. If you are not sure of your username and password you will need to contact the school to get a username and temporary password. After logging on you then click the forms tab: Forms Then there are 4 different tabs above (General Forms, Class Forms, Enrollment, Student Support). Click on Enrollment Forms Tab and it will take you to the forms we need completed for registration. If you have a new student transferring from another district then there is additional form to be completed which is clearly marked for new students. Fill out forms for each of your children. Additional Forms: After you complete the Enroll forms then go to the General Forms tab for additional forms: Home Readiness This will give us helpful knowledge regarding your connectivity if we have to move to hybrid or remote learning. We have also included a Town Transportation Request Form as we will continue to offer town stops after we worked out some details. We will need this completed so we can assign seats. Remote Learning Request - Parents who prefer to have their children educated remotely or need to for medical reasons will need to complete this form. This form is due by August 17.
