The summer food program in correctionville will be postponed till next week.
Red cross is serving meals at the High school for anyone in need.
Also Washta elementary building is still serving summer food program

Due to the loss of power in Correctionville, the Summer Food Program at the MS/HS in Correctionville has been suspended. There will not be breakfast or lunch served at that location until further notice.

River Valley's Summer Food Program is open for business at the MS/HS in Correctionville. They will be serving both lunch and breakfast at that location.
The elementary school in Washta will also be open! It will be open for lunch ONLY (11-12:30).

Due to the flooding and road closures, the JVR softball game for tomorrow morning in Kingsley has been moved to Wednesday, June 26th at 11am vs AA. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the flooding!

KPRV softball fans,
We have been informed by the City of Kingsley that they will begin repair work on the intersection of West 1st St. and Quest Ave next week. This would mean some re-routing of traffic for softball games and practices. Deliveries to the school will be affected, as well. The East entrance will be open to allow for traffic to enter and exit that way. We will have our ticket taker for games at that entrance/exit, as well.
Until the repairs are completed, you will need to access the entrance to the school from the south.
We want to thank the City of Kingsley for their efforts in repairing and fixing the intersection. It is a heavily used intersection and we will work with them during this minor inconvenience so it can get repaired before the upcoming school year.
It is great to see kids and adults taking advantage of the free/reduced meals!
Reminder that kids eat free and adults only pay $4.
Food is served 11 am to 12:30 pm Monday through Thursday.
(Take outs for Friday on Thursday)
What goes on in the school during the summer?
This is just one example . . . . . . every single locker gets wiped, scraped and cleaned.
