Last week RV Elementary battled it out during its 2024 Penny Wars! Grade levels had all week to see who could bring it the most pennies or bills for their class while sabotages the other classes with silver coins. By the time the dust settled and the last coin was counted, the 4th grade was victorious (See the top teams below). Just over a $1,000 was raised during the event!!

Wednesday - Dress in Country Club or Country Clothing

Friday - Wear Blue & Gold for FFA! Ag Olympics will be held in the gym & a staff member will be voted on to kiss a goat!

Juniors are selling Krispy Kreme donuts as a fundraiser for Prom through Tuesday, February 13! Glazed donuts are $14/dozen and Filled (Kreme, Chocolate, Raspberry, Lemon) are $16/dozen. Due to the snow days in January, River Valley CSD will now have school on Monday, February 19. This will be a snow makeup day and be a full day of school.

Yesterday morning, RV Elementary held its February Lift-off. One of the monthly things we do is celebrate our birthdays/half birthdays and KDT drawing winners. Pictured are those birthday kiddos and KDT winners. The RV monthly lift-offs are a great way to kick off the month, get our KDT message of the month out, and of course celebrate our students in every way we can:)
It is School Counselor Appreciation Week and River Valley is celebrating its counselors! Thank you to Mrs. Geary, (Mrs. Hewitt & Mrs. Jochims/both not pictured) for all they of for the students at River Valley Community Schools. We are blessed to have you!
