Yesterday, the RV Elementary 4th graders presented their "Readers Theater" to various classes. One of those classes was first grade. The 4th grade presenters did great and the younger audiences loved the show:)

If you would like to participate in the Panthers Little Leaders Cheer Camp, you need to have your registration form and money turned in Wednesday, December 20 to the office. Details are on the form! There will be transportation provided from Correctionville to Kingsley on the day of the camp.

River Valley middle school and high school students and staff members wearing blue for Boston!
This Thursday, December 14th, the KPRV Girls and Boys Basketball Teams will be playing at the Bomgaars Invitational Basketball Classic at the Tyson Event Center in Sioux City. The girls varsity will play at 3:00 pm vs Newell-Fonda. The boys varsity will play at 4:30 vs Cherokee. Please see the link for tickets and other information.

RV Elementary Reminder: Fundraiser Pick-up Day is Fast Approaching. See attached flyer. A paper copy of the reminder will also go home in backpacks tomorrow or Friday of this week. If you are unable to pick-up your items on Friday, December 15th, please call the elementary office to schedule a pick-up time.

This morning RV Elementary tried its best to kick off the month of December. We had a assembly to talk about a number of December things, such as our 12 Days of Christmas, the KDT Word of the Month-Generosity, and of course we had to honor our birthday kiddos and KDT Drawing winners. It is a great "Short and Sweet" way of getting our day and month started!
The RV Preschool students are hoping Santa will send a classroom elf their way. They thought of all the reasons why Santa should send them an elf and put it all in a letter to him!
Looks like it is in good hands and will be on its way! We are all hoping for an elf sighting soon:)
