Volleyball tickets to Monday's first round of playoff volleyball are now on sale! Tickets are $6.90 including a $0.90 processing fee. All tickets must be purchased through Bound. Cash, River Valley District passes, and Western Valley Conference passes will NOT be accepted at the gate. Be sure to get your tickets purchased to watch Ar-We-VA play your River Valley Wolverines, on October 16th at 7:00 pm!

Picture Retake Reminder for River Valley School District
Stevenson's Studios picture retakes will take place tomorrow/Monday, October 9th. Please return pictures/packet and note any issues or changes. Pictures retakes will begin right away in the morning.
Yesterday, RV Elementary held its October Lift-off and a couple of the things we celebrated were our October birthdays and KDT prize winners. Lot's of smiling faces and excited kids!

JH Volleyball Scheduling Change:
Tomorrows JH Volleyball game at Siouxland Christian has been rescheduled for Tuesday, October 10th. The game will now start at 3:30.
Attention River Valley CSD:
One of our busses (Chuck's bus) is running late from a field trip. This will effect pickup at the elementary school. We estimate the bus to be 10-15 minute late. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Today is School Custodian Appreciation Day and RV Elementary celebrated its custodians:). They were treated to some delicious treats and some appreciation cards. We fell very lucky to have Kayla and Robbie taking care of us! Thanks to our student council for helping with the cards, the staff who brought treats, and to the RV Elementary PTO for assisting in it all.

Yesterday afternoon, the RV Elementary Student Council handled the concession stand for the JH volleyball game. They learned how serve customers, stock supplies, and clean up:) It was some early "On the Job Training"!
They did a great job and seemed to enjoy themselves. Thank you to some parent volunteers and to Mrs. Regennitter for assisting.
