This morning RV Elementary tried its best to kick off the month of December. We had a assembly to talk about a number of December things, such as our 12 Days of Christmas, the KDT Word of the Month-Generosity, and of course we had to honor our birthday kiddos and KDT Drawing winners. It is a great "Short and Sweet" way of getting our day and month started!
The RV Preschool students are hoping Santa will send a classroom elf their way. They thought of all the reasons why Santa should send them an elf and put it all in a letter to him!
Looks like it is in good hands and will be on its way! We are all hoping for an elf sighting soon:)

It was delivery day for our RV Elementary Student Council. Over the past week, we held a canned food drive to help support the Washta Church of Faith. Our elementary students and their families donated over 800 pounds of canned goods to help those in need around the elementary school community. What an unbelievable show of giving. Thank you to Pastor Dinelli and the Washta Church of Faith for partnering with us:). Happy Thanksgiving everyone.!
We have several jerseys and uniforms from the 2000 era. They are still in great shape and would be great for Homecoming dress up days, Halloween costumes or just keeping as memorabilia. Available at the business office for a free will donation.

The RV Elementary students were treated to a fabulous Thanksgiving meal today. A full meal was served, with a side of pumpkin pie and whipped cream! In addition, the students were treated to the movie, "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" while they ate. We are very thankful for our tremendously talented kitchen staff! On behalf of RV Elementary and all its wonderful students and staff, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

It's that time again at RV Elementary:) Today we held our Longest Fry Contest for November. Each pair of winners was given a large round of applause and a Happy Meal coupon. We ended our lunch with a fitting song, "French Fries"! It's a great way to end our week.
